Todd Energy, in conjunction with various joint venture partners, has ownership in a number of facilities that are responsible for over 90% of New Zealand's hydrocarbon energy production.

Our interests include major oil and gas fields currently operating in New Zealand (Maui, Kapuni, McKee, Mangahewa) plus the major fields Pohokura and Maari which are currently under development. Todd Energy also has an interest in 10 exploration permits, 5 of which are operated.

In addition to taking on production operations for the first time in 2006 at McKee and Mangahewa, Todd Energy is committed to expanding its reserve base and developing new Exploration and Production business opportunities through the active acquisition of seismic data, drilling and the development of our entire portfolio.

In 2005, Todd Energy produced 8 million barrels of oil equivalent from its asset base which includes over 80 wells throughout the Taranaki Basin. Todd Energy's current reserves total some 105 million barrels of oil equivalent with annual production for 2007 forecast at up to 14 million barrels of oil equivalent - making Todd Energy a leading producer of energy to meet New Zealand's current and future needs. Todd Energy is also a major partner together with global players Shell and OMV, in the Pohokura field, which started production in September 2006.
